Reaching out for help can be one of the hardest steps to take in this process. The first step is completing the submission form, followed by direct communication from me. At that point and time, we will determine if we would be a good therapeutic fit based on insurance needs, presenting concerns, and scheduling. We curate counseling goals at the beginning of therapy, and work towards those goals collaboratively. Once those goals have been reached, we can have a conversation revisiting necessity for counseling at the present moment.

Yes, we do! Currently we are pending being in-network with Moda and PacificSource.

Many insurance companies will reimburse for out-of-network services. Each insurance company and insurance plan varies in how much is reimbursed for behavioral health services. To figure out your out-of-network benefits, we suggest connecting with your insurance company directly by calling the number of your insurance company payer’s phone number (most likely) located on the back of your insurance card.

There are many factors that influence if a counselor is a good fit for a client. Some of these may include:
Insurance coverage
Scheduling preferences
Counselor specialties or areas of expertise
Therapeutic Approach such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-based counseling, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), etc.
Personality match and communication styles

Benefits for paying out-of-pocket for counseling includes: highest control of privacy and treatment for therapy, ability to choose length and duration of visits, complete privacy and Personal Health Information (PHI), and fully autonomy over choosing the therapist that is best-fit for you.
